Privacy policy
Last updated · 2026 · 10 · 01This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit tercet.games (the "site") or contact Tercet Games, and what your rights are. The short version: the site has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. We only get personal data from you if you choose to email us.
Who we are
The controller responsible for your personal data is Tercet Games, ul. Pasłęcka 14C/35, 03-137 Warszawa, Polska, REGON 10020992600000, trading as Tercet Games.
For anything related to privacy, email hello@tercet.games.
What we collect and why
When you browse the site
The site is a set of static pages. We do not run analytics or tracking scripts, and we do not set cookies or use local storage.
To deliver the pages, our hosting provider, Tercet Games itself, Poland, processes technical data automatically: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser's user agent and the referring page. This is standard for any web server and may be kept in short-lived server logs for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 30 days.
Fonts
The site loads its typefaces (Archivo and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Ltd. When your browser fetches the fonts, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to build profiles or target ads. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in consistent presentation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Google's privacy policy and the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
When you email us
If you write to hello@tercet.games or press@tercet.games, we receive your email address, name (if given) and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and handle your request. Legal basis: taking steps at your request, or our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep emails for as long as needed to deal with your request, and then for no longer than 24 months, unless we need them longer for legal reasons.
Our email is hosted by Tercet Games itself, Poland.
Links to other services
The site links to our pages on Discord, Steam, YouTube and Bluesky. Nothing from these services is embedded or loaded until you click a link. Once you are on their sites, their own privacy policies apply. This includes our Discord server and its TechReports bot, which run on Discord.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data or share it for advertising. The only other parties who process it are the providers named above (hosting, email, Google Fonts), and only to provide their service to us. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decisions (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have it corrected or deleted
- restrict or object to how we process it
- receive it in a portable format
- complain to a data protection supervisory authority
To exercise any of these, email hello@tercet.games. We'll reply within one month.
You can complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work, or where you think an infringement happened. Our lead authority is Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding analytics or a newsletter, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above first.
